BUS DRIVER
Temporary position |4-8 weeks shutdown work | Pembrokeshire
12 hour shifts |13 days on and 1 day off | Start date potentially 4th Sept
THE ROLE..
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled bus driver on a short-term basis. As a bus driver at our client’s refinery, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of employees within the refinery premises. You will be responsible for operating company buses and shuttles, maintaining a high standard of safety, and providing exceptional service to our client’s workforce.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES..
- Safely operate company buses and shuttles to transport employees between various refinery locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the well being of passengers and fellow road users.
- Conduct pre trip and post trip inspections of vehicles to ensure their roadworthiness and report and maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for passengers.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors to coordinate routes and address any operational issues.
ABOUT YOU..
- Proven experience as a bus driver, preferably within a refinery.
- + 21 years of age.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Valid bus licence PCV or HGV (internal training can be given to prove competency to drive a bus if there is a HGV present)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
