To support their continued growth, they are currently seeking a skilled CNC Setter and Operator with experience in Mazatrol programming and ideally, some knowledge of Solid CAM.
- Developing and implementing efficient CNC programs using Mazatrol software for various machine tools.
- Setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.
- Interpreting and working with engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Collaborating closely with design, production, and quality control teams to ensure a seamless manufacturing process.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CNC programming, machine setup, and operation.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of CNC programs, machine setups, and adjustments.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in all aspects of the role.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating, with a strong focus on Mazatrol programming.
- Hurco Milling machine experience.
- Some experience with Solid CAM programming is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and machine capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the CNC process.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software, such as CAD and CAM programs, is a plus.

- Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm & Friday 7am – 1pm
- Based on site in Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire therefore you must live within a commutable distance or be prepared to relocate prior to commencing employment if successful.
