CNC Setter and Operator

To support their continued growth, they are currently seeking a skilled CNC Setter and Operator with experience in Mazatrol programming and ideally, some knowledge of Solid CAM.
  
THE ROLE

  

• Developing and implementing efficient CNC programs using Mazatrol software for various machine tools.
• Setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.
• Interpreting and working with engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Collaborating closely with design, production, and quality control teams to ensure a seamless manufacturing process.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CNC programming, machine setup, and operation.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of CNC programs, machine setups, and adjustments.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in all aspects of the role.

  
ABOUT YOU

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating, with a strong focus on Mazatrol programming.
• Hurco Milling machine experience.
• Some experience with Solid CAM programming is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and machine capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the CNC process.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software, such as CAD and CAM programs, is a plus.
