WORKING HOURS…
37.5 p/w with starts at 8-9.30 and finishes at 16.30-1800 – Monday Thursday Finish, Finish early on Friday at 13.30
THE ROLE…
100% Office based
- Be responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of documents.
- Control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects or departments.
- Responsible for provision of a robust and effective Document Control system both electronic and hard copy.
- Maintain control over all engineering, technical and vendor documentation.
- Safeguards and Maintains accurate technical record data, transmittal registers, document attribute sheets and archive registers and contents.
- Helps develop and improve procedures and systems for document management across the Company.
- Updates document control manuals/procedures from redlines and MOC’s.
- Ensures proper adherence to Company Policy and Procedure and international standards
- Coordinate the MOC process, from initiation to close out ensuring documents and other systems updates
- Administration of the Technical Dashboard database.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED…
- Good standard of general education to ‘A’ level / NVQ3 or equivalent.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
- Knowledge and Experience
- A high level of computer literacy with a high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Team for collaboration, Microsoft Word, Excel and Sharepoint is imperative, as is the ability to validate manipulate and maintain data.
- Experience in documentation, records co-ordination and archive practice, including technical experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Extensive experience in computer based document, records or archive, information management applications is required.
- Preferred experience in autocad or other technical 3D drawing packages as well as knowledge of piping & instrumentation diagrams
- Proven skill for creating and implementing controlled document processes
