Location: Haverfordwest
Hours: 40hrs – Week 1 6am – 2.30pm – Week 2 2pm – 10.30pm
Type: Permanent            
Salary: £27,500 – £28,000 after probation.
 
Our client: Our Client, a leading supplier of sustainably sourced products are currently recruiting for a Filling Operative to join their friendly team in Haverfordwest.
 
Job Description/ The role: Reporting to the Production Manager, as a Filling Operative you will be a key player in the production process responsible for operating and ensuring efficient bottling of our dairy products. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the success of our production operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Operating filling machinery to ensure accurate measurement and filling of milk products into bottles
Monitor and adjust equipment settings to maintain product quality and efficiency
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure proper seals, labelling and product integrity
Troubleshoot and address minor equipment issues to minimise downtime
Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals and timelines
Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the filling area as per GMP standards set by the onsite technical department
Assist in routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition
Work closely with the process operators to ensure flow to production
 
What we need from you:
Process orientated with the ability to identify, resolve and escalate problems where necessary
Understanding of GMP procedures and food hygiene policies
Previous experience and understanding or commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the dairy industry

Previous experience in a dairy process environment is essential
Forklift experience
Able to work in a team, supporting others with their workload and development when required.
