IT Infrastructure & Services Analyst
£22,000 – £25,000

THE ROLE
This role supports the efficient running of IT Infrastructure and Services within the Business Systems Department.
- Assisting colleagues with their IT-related issues (on-site and remotely)
- Ensuring all IT services on-site function properly, coordinating tasks related to systems and services supporting the production environment,
- Ensure all new employees are setup correctly as per local requirements and new user process.
- Diagnose and resolve desktop technical issues where remote assistance is ineffective.
- Provide mobile device support when required.
- Complete internal user moves including phones.
- Install and configure office equipment as required.
- Perform basic administrative support duties, as required, to meet specific operational objectives.
- Aid and support colleagues in IT-related matters when required.
- Ensure that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers, escalate any anomalies to management.
- Keep customers informed of progress and manage customers’ expectations.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum of 96 UCAS points comprised of:
- 3 x A levels (or equivalent), grade C or above in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) subjects.
- 5 x GSCEs (or equivalent), grade C or above, including Maths and English
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, PC/laptop/mobile phone, and device configurations).
- Driving licence.
- Ensure all tasks assigned to Infrastructure and Services are actioned followed up with appropriate notes and estimated completion date.
- Document newly developed processes and instructions, ready to be shared as knowledge transfer within internal and external teams.
- You will live within driving distance of the site in Felinfach, Ceredigion and have your own transport due to the location, public transport links are limited.
