IT Security Lead – Remote / Hybrid options available – must be willing to travel to our clients Wales site every now and again though in Ceredigion.
£45k – £55k + benefits package
Our client is a leading, medical organisation who are seeking an IT Security Administrator to join their friendly, supportive team!
THE ROLE…
- Global responsibility for managing the delivery of the IT Security Program
- Consulting with staff, managers, and executives about the best security practices and providing technical advice.
- Keep up to date with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies and prices
- Accountable for the delivery of the organisations Cyber Security Accreditations such as Cyber Essentials.
- Performing vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying and defending against threats.
- Analysing security requirements, and recommending improvements.
- Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behaviour.
- Developing network policies and authorization roles and defending against unauthorised access, modifications, and destruction.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED…
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cyber security, or a related field.
- Preference to a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISP).
- Minimum 5 years in a Pharma, FinTech or similar industry
- Excellent knowledge of current and upcoming IT technologies and approaches.
- Proven experience in the delivery of complex strategic IT projects, initiatives and service delivery.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment, lab or cleanroom desirable.
- Strong skills in the following technologies (Azure AD Hybrid, GPO’s, Intune, Cisco FW’s/Switches, AntiMalware/AV, MimeCast, O365 Security)
