Laboratory Technician -Felinfach

This international company have a large presence across the UK and this role a Temporary Laboratory Technician is based at the Felinfach Factory, Ceredigion

£12.02 per hour
Days rotating shift pattern covering 7 days
Pension scheme
Weekly pay + Holiday pay

What you will be doing as a Laboratory Technician
To carry out routine analytical and microbiological QC/QA testing of raw & in process materials and finished products to ensure compliance with legislative and quality requirements. To carry out necessary calibrations prior to analysis.
Assist with the investigation into processing issues & customer feedback & evaluation of new products / processes & competitor products as required.
To work in a safe manner at all times and to comply and co-operate with all Health, Safety and Welfare requirements.
 
A little about You…
You will ideally have experience in a laboratory role preferably within the dairy or food industry.
Candidates with A Level’s within a Scientific discipline will also be considered.
Ideally you will have experience in the operation, calibration and maintenance of “cream box” laboratory equipment and methodologies however this is not essential 
You will have excellent numeracy skills and be computer literate.
