Land Surveyor
Location: Cardiff
Hours: Full Time – Hybrid available.
Type: Permanent 40hrs per week.
Salary: Dependant on experience.
Our client: A dynamic engineering surveying company offering a comprehensive range of services, are currently seeking a Land Surveyor to join their team in Cardiff.
Job Description/ The role: The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting topographical and measured building surveys, creating 3D point cloud models, monitoring and performing setting out tasks. This role involves working with advanced surveying equipment and software to produce various types of surveys to their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct topographical and measured building surveys.
Perform setting out tasks for various construction and residential projects.
Undertake monitoring on various sites.
Operate GPS and other surveying equipment.
Develop 3D point cloud models.
Utilise surveying and CAD software to prepare detailed survey drawings.
Collaborate with clients and the team to ensure project specifications are met.
Travel to different sites as required; a company vehicle will be provided.

Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Qualification in surveying or a related field (preferred but not essential).
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Proficiency in CAD & surveying software.
Experience with Trimble equipment and laser scanning (preferred but not essential).
Valid driver’s license.
