Our client, a leading global manufacturer in specialty ingredients, supplying the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries are currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join their friendly team in Felinfach (Ceredigion) for 6 – 9 Months.
THE ROLE
Service, Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment used within the Felinfach Facility. This will be a combination of preventative maintenance and reactive work for breakdowns.

Felinfach (Ceredigion)
- Maintain the Felinfach facility, plant, safety equipment, and systems to comply with GMP standards, Health, Safety & Environment requirements.
- Use the Preventative Planned Maintenance system to identify and repair faults and to minimize unscheduled shutdowns.
- Carry out, diagnose, and instigate the repairs of mechanical and electrical installations.
- Comply with the Company Safety and Environment policy to provide a healthy and safe working environment for maintenance staff and contractors working on site and anyone who may be affected by maintenance activities.
- Provides maintenance support for the implementation of capital projects.
- Maintain inspection systems, procedures & schedules to ensure that the highest standards of housekeeping, product quality, and safety are maintained.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with the organization of the workshop and maintenance team.
- Be a member of the Maintenance on call team for out-of-hours support to the production team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrable experience of an engineering or maintenance function, gained within a chemical, process, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing environment.
- A recognized apprenticeship
- or NVQ level 3 in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines
