They are currently recruiting for a Mill Cleaner to join their busy team in Carmarthen on a temp-perm basis.
Temp – Perm
Monday – Friday 08.30 – 17.00
Carmarthen
£9.50 per hour
THE ROLE
- To work with existing staff to learn the core skills required
- To perform routine Mill cleaning tasks effectively and proactively as identified by the Mill Manager
- To safely assist with proactive and reactive maintenance work around the Mill and site in general, to include a variety of cleaning duties
- To learn certain Mill Operative duties in the interests of flexibility and multi-skilling
- Working within a noisy and dusty environment, key tasks will include manual handling, possible forklift driving, assisting with some mechanical duties
- To share day to day responsibility for maintaining health & safety within the mill area, including any situations with potential environmental impact
- Operate and maintain company sweeper across site
- Assist with all internal and external audits
- Maintain external cleanliness using company sweeper
