WHO ARE THEY
Sunny is currently recruiting for a Mixing Technician for their highly reputable private label producing client who supplies a wide range of high-quality foods for our four-legged friends in Llangadog (Carms)
The products are made entirely in house, and to the highest of quality. Their supply chain and production sites are expanding to different locations across Europe. Becoming part of their team will introduce you to their channel of specialists so you can gain an understanding of how their products make it from idea to final product which are so highly regarded.
Week One (mornings); 5am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, Friday will be a 9-hour shift.
Week Two (afternoons); 10.30am to 9pm Monday to Thursday. Friday will be a 5-hour shift.
The hours average at 45 per week.
£10.46 per hour without FLT licence
£11.03 per hour with a FLT licence
THE ROLE
- Communication with other departments
- Working from the Master File sheet to determine the correct quantities go into the appropriate batch
- Adherence to hygiene standards, ensuring all surfaces are clean at the end of the shift.
- Complying with the rules, policies and procedures required by the employer
- Undertaking the relevant training required to carry out the duties of the post and enhance your own personal development
- Responsibilities for your own health & safety (including wearing the appropriate personal protective clothing/equipment whilst at work)
- Ensuring that all staff and visitors to the department wear appropriate PPE.
- Other Ad hoc duties as and when required.
ABOUT YOU
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Forklift licence (held currently or previously)
- Good team player
- Can work off own initiative
- High levels of food hygiene standards
- High level of attention to detail
