Our client: Our client, who is committed to preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of the Pembrokeshire area is currently looking for a People Services Administrator to join their team on a 6mth FTC.
Job Description/ The role:
The People Services Function includes HR, Health and Safety, Democratic Services and Volunteering.
This post is part of a small team of staff tasked with providing a range of high-quality professional services
Key Responsibilities:
- To undertake a range of administrative tasks across the People Services function including collating information, processing invoices and purchase orders
- To liaise with internal and external stakeholders in the development and delivery of work around work experience, work placements and apprenticeships
- To assist the Head of People Services with the implementation of the Pay and Grading Review
- To assist with arranging training events, contacting training providers and attendees, collating materials and confirming arrangements
- To assist with maintaining HRMIS systems as appropriate, generating MIS reports as necessary
- To support HR and other meetings sending out papers and attending meetings as necessary
- To collate and distribute information regarding employee benefits
- To assist with providing cover for other colleagues within People Services
- To monitor the HR shared mailbox, responding to emails as appropriate escalating others to the relevant colleague
- To assist with the preparation of an internal HR Procedure Manual
- To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post
Information security and governance
- The postholder will manage information in line with PCNPA’s policies, procedures and guidance on Data Protection, GDPR, Freedom of Information, confidentiality, information security and sharing to ensure compliance, efficient and effective information governance.
Health and Safety
- The postholder will carry out their responsibilities with due regard to PCNPA’s policies and procedures for Health and Safety at Work.
Safeguarding
- The postholder will maintain awareness of PCNPA’s policies and practices regarding the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults who may be at risk. Reporting any concerns in accordance with procedures.
Volunteering
- All staff are encouraged to engage as a volunteer using their employee volunteering day entitlement.
- All staff are expected to take a proactive and positive approach to involving and supporting volunteers in their area of work
Decarbonisation
