This is a newly created role for a Project Engineer.
Due to a multi-million-pound investment to significantly increase the manufacturing capabilities to meet a growing global customer demand, and involving the design, build, installation & commissioning of new processing plants base at Felinfach, Ceredigion, West Wales.
Salary £41,705 plus excellent benefits
Fixed term for 1 year initially

Site based in Felinfach, Ceredigion in beautiful West Wales.
What you will be doing as Project Engineer;
The role requires a good understanding of the engineering requirements of the task, ensuring all documentation relating to H&S, Permit to Work, technical validations etc. is raised and followed.
- The task is to be supervised to completion, inspected and signed off.
- Understand project requirements to ensure tasks are completed to the correct standard.
- Prepare and approve necessary documentation, including RAMS, Permits to Work, and Technical Validations.
- Schedule and coordinate work with site and third-party contractors, ensuring proper communication and supervision.
- Take ownership of tasks assigned by the Engineering Design or Project Management team, ensuring they meet required standards.
- Review RAMS from third-party suppliers and ensure relevant parties are informed.
- Raise and follow the Permit to Work procedure, including LOTO, and ensure it is signed off upon completion.
- Supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with site rules and permit controls.
- Actively participate in the Projects team and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental Management requirements.
- Work safely at all times, using required permits and PPE, and manage contractors for out-of-hours work.
About you, your skills and experience…
- ONC Engineering or equivalent (minimum) preferably in an electrical discipline.
