QC Technician

WHO ARE THEY:
Very exciting opportunity to join a unique manufacturing company, who are currently seeking a QC Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.
  

THE ROLE
The role as a QC Technician within the QC group is to be responsible for performing a range of routine analyses, assist in the day to day running of the laboratories, and support effective completion of projects and manufacturing batches.

• Performing a range of routine analyses using analytical and non-sterile microbiological techniques.
• Carry out the environmental monitoring program for the cleanrooms – to help ensure good contamination control.
• Complete routine calibration activities for test equipment.
• Making buffer solutions in support of QC testing.
• Maintain stocks of reagents and materials.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.

ABOUT YOU

• Previous laboratory experience is preferred but a background in science in an educational setting will be considered.
• Minimum A-levels or equivalent qualifications in biology, chemistry, or other related science.
• Further education level qualifications in related disciplines are desirable but not mandatory.
• Good attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions.
• Previous working experience within a GMP or other regulated environment is beneficial.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic person.
• Desire and willingness to learn from more experienced members of the team.
• Well organized and capable of working on multiple activities concurrently.
