WHO ARE THEY…
Fantastic opportunity for a QMS Lead to join a state-of-the-art food manufacturer located in Newcastle Emlyn.
WORKING HOURS…
Monday – Friday 08.00 – 16.30 (Occasional weekend work to cover the laboratory staff)
THE ROLE
- Maintain and improve Quality Management System by promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Focus on food safety and product quality as the first priorities to ensure that products are manufactured to the correct safety, and quality standards are to continually challenge and improve the monitoring/ control systems.
- Management and compliance to BRC standards, maintaining all relevant documents and certificates required.
- Lead Auditor for internal audits, ensuring that audits are completed and closed out by Teams as per the annual schedule.
- Management of pest control.
- Maintenance of the HACCP/ TACCP / VACCP, ensuring documents are reviewed and amended where required to reflect changes to product / processes or external Food safety Impacts.
- Management of COA / Product release, ensuring product released to customers meets their specification requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED…
- Previous quality management experience gained in food manufacturing or similar industry
- Experience of managing a Quality Management System
