Our Client, a highly reputable company in Pembrokeshire looking for a QCM Manager to join their team on a permanent basis!
THE POSITION….
- Manage the QCM function, its priorities, reports, performance and compliance to budgetary constraints.
- To ensure that all microbiology testing is carried out in accordance with approved specifications.
- To approve and monitor contract microbiology organisations.
- Acts as a Quality Control Microbiology lead for internal Microbiology programmes e.g. Environmental Monitoring, water systems and product testing. Ensures ongoing maintenance of control and real-time trend monitoring / reporting of these programmes.
- To support new equipment specification, purchase, commissioning, and qualification
- To manage and perform Quality Control Microbiology project work as requested by the Director of Quality
- Provide Quality Control Microbiology support for technology transfer with respect to projects both internally, and external projects for commercial and development products / projects.
- To ensure that Assay Development / validation is performed in accordance with current ICH guidelines.
- Act as a QCM support contact regarding daily issues and projects with contract manufacturing facilities associated with development and commercial products.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU…

- Educated to degree level in a Scientific discipline supported by a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or allied industry.
- Needs to be methodical and organised and show attention to detail. Organisational skills should be strong with an ability to plan ahead.
- Must demonstrate well developed communication skills and be able to communicate effectively and with confidence with various levels of staff both within and outside the organisation.
- Must demonstrate a proven, well-developed problem-solving ability.
- Must be able to work well as part of a team but also have the ability to lead a team when required
- A flexible and willing attitude is desirable.
