Warehouse & Distribution Technician (12 months Temp)
On-Site – Nr Llandysul, Ceredigion
WORKING HOURS…
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (37.5 hours per week) – Any overtime will be paid at overtime rates
DUTIES..
- Receive deliveries from suppliers, check goods, and complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
- To ensure all import/export licenses and shipping contracts are maintained and valid.
- Store and handle materials safely, following correct labelling and segregation procedures.
- Sample chemicals in a Downflow booth for testing.
- Follow company procedures for safe handling of hazardous products, highlighting and assessing risks.
- Responsible for covering all the Departments planning, purchasing, forecasting, data entry, stock control, Quality and all Supplier activities for the Inventory and General stock items, within the Warehouse & Distribution function.
- Deliver goods to the correct departments on time, occasionally using a forklift.
- Inspect products for quality, cleanliness, correct paperwork, and damage.
- Monitor and record storage temperatures as required.
- Keep stock records accurate through regular checks, counts, and reconciliations.
- Carry out other reasonable tasks as required, including occasional weekend work (which will be paid overtime)
WHAT YOU WILL NEED..
- Ideally educated to HND/C or degree standard and / or with extensive experience in similar role.
- IT literate with Microsoft experience.
